Holcomb coached this system before in Carolina with McDermott.
My guess is McDermott didn’t like the way the defense has been called in big games.
Frazier would probably argue that he couldn’t be as aggressive as he wanted because we couldn’t get to the QB fast enough without Von.Comment

I think it's gonna be tweaked incredibly ..... we don't have the personnel .... maybe Frazier is taking the year off because he's losing Edmunds and Poyer.

Holcomb also reunites with Bills head coach Sean McDermott as the two were on staff together in Carolina. Holcomb was the linebackers coach for the Panthers from 2013-2017 when McDermott was the defensive coordinator from 2011-2016.

Great news to move on from Frazier though.
This was actually something I suspected would happen (i.e. no immediate post-season news on Frazier, but then they would possibly part ways after a few weeks as a sign of respect to Frazier).Comment
