They play in spurts. Good first but let in a late PP goal. Crappy for most of the 2nd period but Levi bailed them out. Good for most of the 3rd then had to have Levi save them at the end. They still make so many stupid give aways coming out of their own zone. Regardless, they're now jumbled up with 8 other teams within 3 points of 3rd spot in the conference. They're right there where they need to be. Now they need a nice streak to create some separation.

The exception to the rule. For every barrasso, there's a hundred Carter harts, Steve masons, Spencer knights, ect.

Great game, but those have been few and far between so far for him.

Patience is key here.

But if he starts to string a few good games together, I'll gladly reconsider my position

I’ll never understand how some team can be so good at one aspect of S/T and so bad at another. We have a great PK so we know what teams do to shut down the PP. Just coach around it.

Olafsson is a bit of a disappointment but he’s had success on the PP in the past. We have Skinner, Tuch, Tage, Cozens as forwards. We have at least two defensemen who can contribute on O in Power and Dahlin.

It just doesn’t make sense that the PP is so bad.

I guess it happens though. Back in the day after the lockout, Drury, Briere, Vanek, Pominville and Roy were putting up crazy offensive numbers and the PP wasn’t good.

Wild suck at special teams but score on the PP and kill our PP.

The Sabres were without two of their best penalty killers: Tuch & Samuelsson. And one of those 2 ppgs had Greenway in the penalty box.

That's been the Sabres problem for years. And through several coaches now.
