I only saw the last 15 min. Why does every goalie look like Hasek in his prime against this Sabres team? They get chances but rarely score.

And the dumb late penalty is infuriating. It killed any small chance at a comeback.

They shoot the puck right into them. If a goalie has the correct positioning these losers can find an opening.

I'd trade at least one of the young guns. Tage or Cozens would go if I were in charge.

Tage, Cozens and Dahlin can't go because of the big, long-term contracts they just signed.

I see they are trying to showcase Olofsson for all the scouts that have been at their games. Not doing any good as he sucks.

If the Sabres dangled any of those three, a team would immediately jump. A bad season doesn't negate their talents.

1st period was meh. The first 8 min or so was terrible. After that, they got scoring chances but the only goal was negated by replay. They still gave up too many chances and UPL is the on,y reaso they are still in this game.

And FWIW I’ve come around on UPL. He’s a legit NHL starter. His GAA is 2.51 on a team that constantly hangs him out to dry. It’s not his fault that the skaters can’t score.

Also 5 min gone in the 2nd and the Sabres have no shots on goaln thr period. They’ve been in their own end most of the time.
