All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Buffalo brings a guy in....he scores 35-40 goals...gets rewarded with a fat contract....then essentially goes through the motions for three seasons.

Where is Adams? I know he's "upset" at the way the seasons gone. But you gotta get off your ass and do something.

I've said it before, mostly in relation to the Bills, but I've been in work situations where the project was going to fail due to bad management, and the effort I put in was going to make very little difference. It's hard to give 100% in those situations.
I think that's what's happening with the Sabres. Guys won't give 100% when they think it's hopeless.
The problem is that this team isn't bad. It's not a Cup-winning roster by any means but they have the talent to win some games, and a lot of young guys who are still improving. It's far from hopeless.
