Gotta wonder though: what if he was healthy the whole season? We’d definitely have some more points in the standings and would at least have a shot at playoffs.

A healthy Quinn and not letting Peca go. Peca should have been being groomed for HC role.

I saw maybe the first 10 minutes. The Sabres actually looked good. They gave up a few chances but they were getting more chances than they were giving up, and Skinner scored to give them the lead.

Then my basement flooded. After about an hour and a half of cleaning it up, I was about to turn the game back on but decided to check the score first. It was 5-2 in the third.

Don't know what happened exactly, but I've seen enough of this awful team that I can take a pretty good guess. I don't know why I bother.

That's not the ONLY trade those two organizations made. The Amerks pick up D Noah Laaouan from the Laval Rocket, Montreal's AHL affiliate, in exchange for Chris Jandric. Laaouan has mostly played for the Habs' ECHL affiliate in Trois-Rivieres, racking up a goal and 10 points for the Lions this season.
