Wings are an O6 team with a solid fan base. The Caps have a bandwagon fan base that knows **** all about hockey and already got a Cup before we did. It sickens me.
Here's something. Thompson now has 49 points in 63 games. That's .77777 points per game. Over an 82 game season, that's about 64 points.
At his AAV, that's fine. I know we think he's having a bad season, and by his standards he is. But really, he's been just fine if we take the name away and just look at production
He has point a game talent. He needs to get back to that. The Sabres need him to get back to that.
If this is him playing below expectations, that's fine with me. He's a good one
