I think he was invited and just went there to have some fun. He said in his interview he doesn’t follow baseball very closely but played all the way through HS. They invited him for BP and a game and he went to have a good time.

By everything I see this year so far, Josh might be in his best physical shape I've seen. In the article he mentioned he's watching what he eats which, and if you pay close attention, that is not something he said before. You know that TB12 regiment etc. which I always admire. I cringed when I saw Allen downing an entire beer can in one shot, or doing wine tasting interviews. It is because I live in a city where we all watched how a future HOF Steeler QB went from athletic into a statue while witnessing TB12 maintained his limited mobility into his mid-40s.
Maybe Allen did have a life changing experience this off-season. I remember I was in my mid-20s, single, having goals, working out while not feeling as burdening as I feel now, fit, active, doing things on a snap, still chasing girls ...
It could be considerably worse.
He could be an A's fan like me.

Josh will upset more fans as I saw him again on TV that he's in Rochestor watching the PGA Championship. I think Barkley and Gabe Davis are with him. Perhaps he should practice throwing balls to Davis instead eh?
I do hope though that he takes a page out of the current leader Scheffler who went right out after his round to practice drives. Scheffler told the interviewer what he felt is not right and must correct it today. Sometimes I feel Josh can do something similar mid-season as well to keep his throwing forms.
