Cole Holcomb suffered “serious” injury Thursday night
Steelers linebacker Cole Holcomb was injured early in Thursday night’s game and he did not return to celebrate the 20-16 win over the Titans at the end of the night.
Holcomb was carted off with a left leg injury after staying down at the tail end of a completion to Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in the first quarter of the game. After the 20-16 win was in the books, head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters it was a “serious” injury and that more details about Holcomb’ condition would come in the future.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with him,” Tomlin said.

Jets rule out Duane Brown, add Allen Lazard to injury report as questionable
The Jets had hoped to have left tackle Duane Brown back this week, but they ruled him out Saturday.
Brown has not played since Week 2 because of a hip injury.
The Jets opened his 21-day practice window Thursday to be activated from the injured list to the active roster, and he was a full participant in every practice this week.
The Jets also announced they added wide receiver Allen Lazard (knee) and safety Adrian Amos (ankle) to the injury report. Both are listed as questionable for Monday night.
If Lazard can’t play, the Jets will have little experience behind Garrett Wilson and Randall Cobb with Xavier Gibson, Irvin Charles and Jason Brownlee.

Eagles TE Dallas Goedert suffers fractured forearm, expected to have surgery and miss around four weeks
The Philadelphia Eagles' rivalry win Sunday didn't come without a significant loss.
Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert suffered a fractured forearm in Philadelphia's win over the Dallas Cowboys and is expected to need surgery, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday on Good Morning Football.
Goedert is scheduled for an MRI and additional tests on Monday to confirm the diagnosis and need for surgery, per Rapoport, who added that the procedure would likely happen as soon as today, and the hope is that Goedert would only miss around four weeks.
In the third quarter of Sunday's game, Goedert hauled in the last of his three catches from Jalen Hurts and was thrown down along the sideline onto his arm. He remained on the field for a good amount of time before leaving for the locker room.

Giants QB Daniel Jones feared to have suffered significant knee injury in loss to Raiders
The Giants' troubling season took another turn for the worse on Sunday.
New York quarterback Daniel Jones is feared to have suffered a significant knee injury -- potentially a torn ACL -- during New York's 30-6 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported.
Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters after the game that Jones had an X-ray done at the stadium, and that he'll undergo more tests on Monday.
Jones, who just returned from a three-game absence with a neck injury, had his knee bend awkwardly trying to avoid a sack on the last play of the first quarter. He returned, but on the very next play, his right knee buckled under him again during his dropback.
