Browns agree to two-year deal with Corey Bojorquez

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the team has agreed to a new deal with Corey Bojorquez. It is a two-year contract extension for the veteran.
Bojorquez spent three years with the Bills before playing for the Packers in 2021 and joining the Browns in 2022. He had a net average of 40.5 yards per kick in his first year with the team and bumped that up to 42.2 yards during the 2023 campaign.

Danielle Hunter agrees to two-year deal with Texans - NBC Sports

The Texans saw edge rusher Jonathan Greenard agree to terms with the Vikings on Monday and they landed an agreement with a former Viking edge rusher on Tuesday.
According to multiple reports, Danielle Hunter has agreed to sign with the 2023 AFC South champs when the new league year opens on Wednesday. It is a two-year deal with $48 million guaranteed and a maximum value of $51 million.
Hunter was the top player left uncommitted to a team on PFT’s list of the top free agents in the league at the time of his reported agreement and he makes it much easier to swallow Greenard’s departure. Hunter had a career-high 16.5 sacks for the Vikings and he has 87.5 sacks over the course of his career, so the prospect of teaming him with Will Anderson is an agreeable one for the Texans.

The Texans add a good one.

Jadeveon Clowney will visit the Panthers - NBC Sports

The 31-year-old Clowney was born and raised in South Carolina and played his college football for the Gamecocks, so signing with Carolina would be something of a homecoming for him.
It would also mark the sixth different team Clowney has played for: He went to the Texans with the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft and played for them for five seasons, then played one season in Seattle, one in Tennessee, two in Cleveland and one in Baltimore.
With the Ravens last season, Clowney tied his career-high with 9.5 sacks, and he added another sack in the playoffs. Clowney is never going to live up to the pre-draft hype in which he was projected as being the next Lawrence Taylor or Reggie White, but he’s had a solid NFL career and has stayed healthy and in good shape. He can make an impact wherever he goes. Perhaps a team that desperately needs an impact player in Carolina.

Chargers remain over the salary cap, so key players may get cut today

The Chargers remain about $25 million over the 2024 salary cap, with less than six hours to go before every NFL team has to be under at the start of the league year.
That makes it highly likely that at least one, and possibly more than one, of four key players will get cut in the next few hours: Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. All four of those players have non-guaranteed base salaries of at least $15 million, so they’re the natural choices for a team in rough cap shape to cut.
The Chargers may want to trade one or more of those four players, but the problem is that they have to be under the salary cap before the start of the league year, and players can only be traded after the start of the league year. If the Chargers want to trade one or more of those four, they’ll need to make other moves to get under the cap first.

Sharpe is the first offensive lineman the Texans have added during a week that has seen them strike deals with players like edge rusher Danielle Hunter, punter Tommy Townsend, defensive lineman Denico Autry, cornerback Jeff Okudah and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair.

Report- Ravens to release Tyus Bowser - NBC Sports

Jeff Zrebiec of TheAthletic.com reports that the Ravens are going to release Bowser as the new league year gets underway. The move will clear $5.5 million in cap space for the Ravens to use as they build their 2024 roster.
Bowser has been with the Ravens since being selected in the second round of the 2017 draft. He missed all of last season and he missed half of the 2022 season while recovering from a torn Achilles he suffered the previous year.

Jets agree to trade for Morgan Moses - NBC Sports

New York is trading for Baltimore right tackle Morgan Moses, per multiple reports. The deal cannot be finalized until the start of the new league year at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
The Ravens will receive a fourth-round pick (No. 112) and a sixth-round pick (No. 218) while the Jets receive Moses and a fourth-round pick (No. 134), according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Moses, 33, was with the Jets in 2021 — the first year of head coach Robert Saleh’s tenure. He started 16 games for the club that year and played 94 percent of the team’s offensive snaps.

Report- Texans to trade Maliek Collins to 49ers - NBC Sports

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Texans have agreed to trade Collins to the 49ers. The 49ers will send a seventh-round pick back to the Texans.
The 49ers are expected to release Arik Armstead at the start of the league year and Javon Kinlaw has agreed to terms with the Jets, so the interior of the defensive line is in some flux. They have agreed to a deal with Jordan Elliott and Javon Hargrave remains under contract.

Jordan Whitehead agrees to return to Bucs on two-year deal

Whitehead, 26, was a Bucs fourth-round pick in 2018 and spent his first four seasons with the franchise. He won Super Bowl LV with the club to cap the 2020 season.He then signed with the Jets as a free agent in 2022 and started every game for New York over the last two years. He was on the field for 99 percent of the defensive snaps in 2022 and 95 percent in 2023.
