All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

The Chiefs are re-signing starting defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, his agency, SportsTrust, announced Thursday. Nnadi, 27, started all 17 games each of the past two seasons. In 2023, he played 498 snaps and totaled 29 tackles, a sack and a pass defensed.

Marquise Brown has agreed to a one-year deal with Kansas City, according to multiple reports. The initial reporting is that Brown’s contract is worth up to $11 million. The Saints signed receiver Cedrick Wilson to a two-year contract Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Wilson spent the past two seasons in Miami but played only 26 percent of the offensive snaps in 2022 and 56 percent in 2023. He started three games while playing in 30. Wilson totaled 34 catches for 432 yards and three touchdowns for the Dolphins. He had a big role in the Cowboys’ offense in 2021, parlaying that into a contract with the Dolphins.

Free agent cornerback Bryce Hall is heading to Tampa Bay.
Hall has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Buccaneers, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
The Bucs were in the market for a cornerback after trading Carlton Davis to Detroit. Hall doesn’t have as much upside as Davis, but he’ll be a lot cheaper.

According to multiple reports, the 49ers have agreements on one-year deals with guard Jon Feliciano and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles. Feliciano saw time at both guard spots for the Niners last season and wound up as their right guard for the final couple of months of the campaign. Feliciano played center for the Giants in 2022 and his versatility should keep him on the field in one spot or another in 2024.

Tart finished the 2023 season as a member of the Texans because they claimed him off of waivers from the Titans in December. He had three tackles in two regular season games, but was inactive in both of the team’s playoff games.

He recorded 78 total tackles with two tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions in 13 games last season. In 2022, he was on the field for 89 percent of Miami’s defensive snaps while starting all 17 games.

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Browns have restructured Jeudy’s contract in order to gain cap space. The team converted the bulk of Jeudy’s $12.987 million salary into a bonus in the move.
The result is about $10 million in cap space for the Browns.
Jeudy, who was acquired in a trade with the Broncos this week, is set to play out his rookie deal this year, so the next contract news involving him could be an extension that keeps him in Cleveland well beyond the end of the 2024 season.

Irwin joined the Bengals in 2019 and played sparingly in nine games over his first three seasons, but he became a bigger part of the offense the last two seasons. Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Carolina is signing K’Lavon Chaisson to a one-year deal worth a maximum of $5 million. The Jaguars selected Chaisson at No. 20 overall in the 2020 draft, but he has not reached a level of first-round production in his four seasons. Chaisson started 11 games over his first two seasons but has not started one since, making 57 total appearances. He has 5.0 career sacks. In 2023, Chaisson recorded 13 total tackles with four tackles for loss, eight QB hits, and 2.0 sacks. He was on the field for 25 percent of defensive snaps and 25 percent of special teams snaps.

A report this week indicated that the 49ers wanted to add Campbell to their roster and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the two sides have now agreed to a deal. It is a one-year deal for the former Packer. Green Bay released Campbell earlier this month, so signing him will not factor into the NFL’s compensatory draft pick policy. The move comes a few days after the 49ers’ verbal agreement with Eric Kendricks fell apart, so the team was in the market for another experienced linebacker.
