Tennessee announced on Friday that the club has released left tackle Andre Dillard.
Dillard, 28, signed with the Titans last offseason on a three-year deal but struggled through the 2023 season. He appeared in 16 games with 10 starts playing 562 offensive snaps. He was on the field for 56 percent of the reps in games played.
The No. 22 overall pick of the 2019 draft, Dillard spent his first four seasons with the Eagles. He appeared in 43 games for the club with nine starts.

Rams to sign Jimmy Garoppolo - NBC Sports
According to multiple reports, the Rams are signing the former 49ers and Raiders quarterback. It’s a one-year deal for Garoppolo, who will try to be the backup to Matthew Stafford this season.
If Garoppolo makes the team, the Rams will have to make plans to have at least one more quarterback on hand for the start of the season. Garoppolo is set to serve a two-game suspension due to a performance-enhancing drug violation. They closed out last year with the now-unsigned Carson Wentz as the backup because 2023 fourth-round pick Stetson Bennett spent the year on the non-football injury list.

Re: All news NFL
If Vikings trade up to take a quarterback, Sam Darnold is clearly a “bridge” QB
Meeting with reporters on Thursday, G.M. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah declined to describe Darnold as a “bridge” quarterback.
“I’m gonna stop using terms, I think they get — I’m not gonna call him a ‘bridge’ quarterback, but he’s a quarterback that’s on our roster, under contract for a year. Ultimately, at the end of the day, the position is about how do you run Kevin’s offense? How do you overcome context when the play’s not really there. There’s different skill sets that go into the position.”
But here’s the reality. As the Vikings seemingly prepare to try to package their newly-acquired 23rd overall pick with the 11th overall pick for a possible move higher in the draft for a high-end rookie quarterback who has an impressive and comprehensive skill set, Darnold necessarily will become a quarterback who is aimed at keeping things going while the rookie gets properly prepared to play in the NFL.

The Steelers are signing receiver Van Jefferson to a one-year deal, Gerry Dulac of Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

In 2023, he caught 12 passes for 101 yards for the Falcons after making eight receptions for 108 yards with the Rams.
The Rams made him a second-round pick in 2020, and he had his best season in 2021 when he had 50 catches for 802 yards and six touchdowns.

Jets were surprised to land Tyron Smith
Veteran left tackle Tyron Smith has found his new NFL home.
Smith, who has played his entire 13-year career with the Cowboys, is now signing with the Jets, according to multiple reports.
That means he’ll be responsible for protecting the blind side of Aaron Rodgers — unless Rodgers retires to run for Vice President. The Jets do expect Rodgers to be their quarterback this season, and they want to keep him upright after he lasted just four plays last year. Smith should help.

Adam Butler re-signs with Raiders - NBC Sports
Butler has agreed to a one-year deal to remain with the Raiders, according to multiple reports.
The 29-year-old Butler originally signed with the Patriots as an undrafted rookie in 2017. He played four seasons in New England and then one in Miami, but when the Dolphins cut him in 2022 and he sat out the entire season with an undisclosed injury, it was fair to wonder whether his career was over.
