Suh visited Miami on Wednesday. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that nothing is imminent between the sides. Suh, 36, played for the Dolphins from 2015-17, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2016. He also has played for the Lions, Rams, Buccaneers and signed with the Eagles at midseason in 2022, seeing action in eight games and the postseason.

Yes, it’s getting more expensive to go to Lions games. For some fans, it’s dramatically more expensive.
Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press has found a season-ticket holder who initially believed the email was mistaken. It wasn’t. Jeff Paxton paid $5,536 for four season tickets in 2023. Next year, the same seats will cost $13,616.

Chargers designate Joey Bosa for return from injured reserve - NBC Sports

The Chargers announced on Thursday that Bosa has been designated for return from injured reserve. The move gives him the ability to practice for the rest of the season and he could be activated to play in any of the Chargers’ remaining games.
Bosa injured his foot in Week 11 and has missed the team’s last four games. He had 20 tackles, 6.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in nine appearances before his injury.
The Chargers host the Bills on Saturday night and it seems unlikely that Bosa will be activated ahead of that game.

49ers sign RB Jeremy McNichols to active roster

The 49ers signed running back Jeremy McNichols to the active roster from the team’s practice squad, the team announced Thursday. They signed defensive lineman Taylor Stallworth to take McNichols’ spot on the practice squad. McNichols’ promotion is a sign running back Elijah Mitchell (knee) won’t be available for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. Mitchell hasn’t played since Dec. 3 against the Eagles.

It’s looking more and more likely that Ryan Tannehill will be getting a return to the Titans lineup for Christmas.

Quarterback Will Levis missed practice for the second straight day with an ankle injury. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said on Wednesday that Tannehill will get the start against the Seahawks if Levis is unable to play. Tannehill started the first six games, but has been behind Levis since his return from an ankle injury.

Indianapolis Colts legend Jeff Saturday is among the group that believes the NFL got it right in terms of suspending Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Damontae Kazee for the remainder of the season after his hit against a current Colt. Kazee was ejected this past Saturday after his hit on Colts star wideout Michael Pittman Jr., hitting the receiver as he was diving to make a catch.

Mecole Hardman back at Chiefs practice, Kadarius Toney out

While Hardman was on the field, Kadarius Toney did not take part in practice due to a hip injury. Running back Jerick McKinnon (groin), linebacker Cam Jones (illness), and linebacker Nick Bolton (wrist, abdomen) were also out of practice. Left tackle Donovan Smith (neck) joined Hardman in the limited category.

Last year at this time, the Raiders benched and sent home quarterback Derek Carr in order to avoid owing him $40 million, fully guaranteed. This year, the Saints don’t have that luxury.
They’re already on the hook for $40 million, as a practical matter. Carr’s contract pays out a $30 million salary in 2024, all of which is fully guaranteed. Another $10 million due in 2025 becomes fully guaranteed in March 2024. The Saints can avoid the extra $10 million only by cutting Carr before the payment vests.

There’s been a lot of focus on the underwhelming performance of the Chiefs’ receivers this season, but Jones said that the quarterback is still the star of the show for Kansas City and that the Raiders will need to shut Patrick Mahomes down to get a win on Christmas.

“We’re not worried about them,” Jones said, via Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “It’s Patrick Mahomes we’ve got to stop. You stop the magician, then the act is over.”

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith was close to playing against the Eagles in Week 15 and he’s set to play against the Titans in Week 16.

Smith practiced fully all week and he did not receive an injury designation on the team’s final injury report of the week. Carroll said, via the team’s website, that Smith had “as good a Friday as I can remember for a quarterback” and that he is “totally back and primed” for Sunday’s game.

There’s less clarity about four other Seahawks. Center Evan Brown (illness), cornerback Tre Brown (heel), running back Kenneth Walker III (shoulder), and cornerback Devon Witherspoon (hip) are all listed as questionable.
