From 2018-2022, Boettger appeared in 34 games with 17 starts for the Bills. He started seven games for the club in 2020 and 10 games in 2021.
Boettger entered the league in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa. He initially signed with the Bills and was briefly with the Chiefs before heading back to Buffalo.

Jared Verse set to visit Seahawks, Broncos
Edge rusher Jared Verse is generally projected to be a first-round pick in this month’s draft and he’s visiting with teams who could make that projection a reality.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that Verse is set to visit with the Seahawks on Tuesday night and Wednesday. He is also scheduled for a meeting with the Broncos and has already visited with the Buccaneers.
Verse played at Albany before transferring to Florida State for his final two seasons. He was named an All-American after both years with the team and left school with 89 times, 29.5 tackles for loss, 18 sacks, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries.

Julian Blackmon was one of many safeties who received a less robust free agent market than they might have liked this offseason.
Blackmon had 88 tackles, four interceptions, and two fumble recoveries while starting 15 games for the Colts last season, but he encountered an environment that was flooded with experienced safeties and short on teams looking to hand out multi-year deals. Blackmon visited the Bills and 49ers before opting to take a one-year deal to remain in Indianapolis.
Jaguars, Josh Allen agree to five-year contract - NBC Sports
The Jaguars and Allen have agreed to a five-year, $150 million contract with $88 million guaranteed, according to multiple reports. The precise structure of the contract has not yet been reported.
The 26-year-old Allen hit free agency coming off his best NFL season, in which he started all 17 games, recorded 17.5 sacks and was chosen to the Pro Bowl. He emerged as one of the league’s elite pass rushers at the right time to cash in as a free agent, and now he has done so.
Lucas Patrick visited with Seahawks
Earlier this week, Lucas Patrick took a free-agent visit with the Seahawks, per the league’s transaction wire, working out with the club.
Patrick, 30, started 15 games for the Bears at center last season. It was his second year with the franchise, after appearing in seven games with five starts in 2022.
Patrick has played both guard and center in his career. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Packers in 2016, becoming a starting guard for the team in 2020. He then started 13 games for Green Bay in 2021 before departing the franchise.
