11 men on the field for special teams and it's a win. The kicker missed the attempt on the play the penalty was called.

Far be it from me to defend a defense I have been criticizing as over-rated for several seasons, but all of those games...and a couple of wins...shouldn't have come down to make or break on the last play of game and wouldn't have if Josh wasn't turning the ball over and the offense was putting points on the board like they should.

Dunno bud, that's the same side eye that Allen's not doing enough when they know already who and what Allen is after 6 years. It also encompasses their offensive playcalling. They rev and score productively when they go fast temp.

If and or when it does come down to make it or break it, you need that defense to seal it, that's what champions do. It's still a plug and play defensive scheme with less capable replacements doing the same things, because the defensive HC can't adapt to the playstyle of his jewel franchise QB.

The common perception is that the Bills are more aggressive under McDermott, but blitz 23%, the 4th lowest rate in the NFL. They do it inappropriately at the wrong times and it costs us, because McD is not growing.

Allen is who he is, he's a gunslinger, that D needs to be able to seal a game with a stop instead of crumpling predictably in a soft prevent 10 yards past the line of scrimmage.
