All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

New York is trading for Baltimore right tackle Morgan Moses, per multiple reports. The deal cannot be finalized until the start of the new league year at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
The Ravens will receive a fourth-round pick (No. 112) and a sixth-round pick (No. 218) while the Jets receive Moses and a fourth-round pick (No. 134), according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Moses, 33, was with the Jets in 2021 — the first year of head coach Robert Saleh’s tenure. He started 16 games for the club that year and played 94 percent of the team’s offensive snaps.

The Chargers remain about $25 million over the 2024 salary cap, with less than six hours to go before every NFL team has to be under at the start of the league year. That makes it highly likely that at least one, and possibly more than one, of four key players will get cut in the next few hours: Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa, Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. All four of those players have non-guaranteed base salaries of at least $15 million, so they’re the natural choices for a team in rough cap shape to cut. The Chargers may want to trade one or more of those four players, but the problem is that they have to be under the salary cap before the start of the league year, and players can only be traded after the start of the league year. If the Chargers want to trade one or more of those four, they’ll need to make other moves to get under the cap first.
That's crazy that the Chargers have four players that account for $140+ mil in cap space.

Should be a wild day in Charger land .... less than 3 hours away.

The Dolphins announced Howard’s release shortly after the 2024 league year began at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The move was expected, but the Dolphins waited to make it in order to make Howard a post-June 1 cut and clear $18.5 million in cap space come that date.
Howard ruled out a return to the Dolphins on a new deal during a recent interview, but it is not clear where the one-time first-team All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowl selection will be heading next.

This year FA crop was not that great to be honest. Especially after the tags were placed on the elite type of players. Bills held ground signed a few of their own and a few depth pieces and heading to the draft. They are fine. Lot of players got paid that are AVG to above AVG at best thus far.
Linebacker Devin Bush is visiting with Cleveland on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. A first-round pick in 2019, Bush played his first four seasons with the Steelers, who declined his fifth-year option. Bush then signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks for 2023 and appeared in 13 games with three starts. He finished with 37 total tackles with five tackles for loss, playing 21 percent of Seattle’s defensive snaps. He was on the field for 30 percent of special teams snaps.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that safety Jordan Fuller, who is No. 59 on that list, is scheduled to visit the Panthers. It’s the only known visit on the radar for Fuller. Fuller was a 2020 Rams sixth-round pick and he started 46 of the 48 regular season games he played for the team. Those numbers would likely have been higher if not for a hamstring injury that limited him to three games in 2022. Fuller returned to start every game last season and had 94 tackles, three interceptions, and three fumbles.

Veteran linebacker Devin White is heading to Philadelphia. The Eagles and White have agreed to terms on a one-year contract. The 26-year-old White has played his entire NFL career for the Buccaneers, who selected him with the fifth overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft. Last year he played in 14 games with 13 starts, but the Buccaneers started to phase him out down the stretch, and he was only a part-time player off the bench in the Bucs’ two playoff games. Late in the season White insisted that he hadn’t quit on his team amid questions about why he missed three games.

The Panthers are signing free agent safety Jordan Fuller to a one-year deal, Joe Person of TheAthletic.com reports. Fuller, 26, spent his first four seasons with the Rams after they made him a sixth-round pick. In 2023, Fuller played all 17 games and totaled 94 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and eight pass breakups. It was a bounce-back season for Fuller after playing only three games in 2022 because of a hamstring injury.
