All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

The 5’10”, 210-pound Edwards entered the NFL as a third-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019. Last offseason, Edwards signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, contributing to the team’s defensive backfield as part of the Chiefs’ championship season.

Buffalo announced on Wednesday that the team has signed safety Mike Edwards to a one-year deal. Edwards, 27, appeared in 17 games with five starts in 2023. He was on the field for 57 percent of defensive snaps and 28 percent of special teams snaps. He finished with an interception, five passes defensed, and two fumble recoveries. Edwards was a Buccaneers third-round pick in 2019 and played his first four seasons with the franchise.

Re: Chiefs free-agent S Mike Edwards visiting Bills
Another great move by Brandon Beane.
A starting level safety who is only 27 years old who happens to be a two time Super Bowl winner.
He had 57% of defensive snaps (the most of the 3 FS on the Chiefs) and 28% of special teams snaps last year with KC.
During the 2021 SB winning season in Tampa Bay he was #2 (46.5%) in FS snap counts (behind only Antoine Winfield Jr - 76.77%) and in 2022 he had the most snaps (72.61%) over #2 Antoine Winfield Jr (68.15%...who missed some game due to injury).
Sure looks like an experienced vet that can compete and possibly win a starting job in Buffalo.
Re: Chiefs free-agent S Mike Edwards visiting Bills
Very nice signing imho....reminds me atm of when they signed Hyde in that Edwards has played fs, ss, and slot corner with flexibility. To me that means when he looks at the db coverage in front of him he'll know it on a different level. Hungry to start, db friendly defense, starting fs without more injury catastrophe.

I'm good with it. Other than Elam and the annual over-the-hill-too-old-to-play corners he brings in every training camp Beane seems to have a good feel for d-backs.

Very good signing! And we all know how well McDermott is with Safeties. Anyone else feel a lot better about our 2 starters now? Rapp and Edwards should do just fine.

Just mho, but I think the over the hill signings have a lot to do with McDermott and his yesterday vet fetish because tomorrow is scary if a guy was just drafted and we won't play anyone unless we have to because omg we want to get somewhere and we can't do this because my collar is too tight and I can't breathe.
