All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There was one fairly big thing that happened in Week 1 of the 2023 season. Tim Graham, who covers the Bills for TheAthletic.com, mentioned on his podcast an incident between Allen and Diggs after the season-opening loss to the Jets, who lost quarterback Aaron Rodgers after only four plays. Per Graham, Diggs approached Allen in the locker room, and Allen didn’t react well to whatever Diggs said.
“I didn’t know what Stefon Diggs said to him, but Josh Allen snapped at him,” Graham said, via LarryBrownSports.com. “He said, ‘It’s one f—ing game!’ and kind of motioned like I’m not talking to you here. And Diggs walked away and Josh sat there. In retrospect, keeping in mind this was Week 1 when for all we know everyone is hunky dory, but looking back on it I wish I would have included that in my story or made some sort of reference to it. Maybe Stefon Diggs was saying something nice to him, but [Allen] didn’t snap at anybody else.”
Chances are Allen didn’t snap without a reason. He doesn’t seem to be that way. Maybe he was on edge after throwing three interceptions and losing in prime time to Zach Wilson. Or maybe Diggs made a comment that pushed his buttons.
“It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why.”
"It may be raining but there's a rainbow above you" Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist pollshowing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.
By trading Diggs, the Bills are trying to reshape the team around Allen during the remaining years of his prime. They want no impediments to his ability to lead. They want none of the minor issues from Diggs that eventually became a big enough deal to trade him.

‘“From what I do know, is he was allowed to seek a trade from anybody in the league except the Kansas City Chiefs, Mike,” Simms told Florio. “That’s what I’ve been told by multiple people. He was allowed to do that. The Chiefs were the only team they weren’t going to trade to.”’

Come on folks, the team especially the defense was not good enough even with Hyde, Poyer and White. Hell they missed more games than they played and the first two clearly lost a step. I hope White comes back and plays to his abilities but probably not. The one thing I can agree on is McD, he does do some questionable decisions.
And for 50 years....have not been able to cover a tight end.
But to spit all this venom at Josh is crazy. You complained about his interceptions and he cleaned that up during the last half of the season. Some of you have convinced yourself he doesn’t do enough film study, he plays too much golf, he cares more about casing women then football, his priorities are wrong. I must ask, where did you read this, who are your sources, what evidence do you have? My god, you have one the great quarterbacks of a generation and you guys can’t even in enjoy it!!!
I agree.
He is the second best player in the entire NFL.
And there were those here who whined about accuracy coming out of college.
Sure cleaned that up with a little coaching, didn't he?
The bottom line is that it's still a team game, and while the Bills are a very good team, like most, they still have deficiencies.
Injuries haven't helped them either.
If I were BB, I would be looking very hard at my medical/training staff, and asking a lot of questions.
Funny thing is, the last time I remember Diggs honestly taking command of a game (and I could be wrong about this, as he had some very good games against Miami) was the Thanksgiving game in Detroit.
The upstart Lions were keeping it close. Closer than Bills fans were probably comfortable with.
Then in the second half, Diggs *****ed to somebody, and finally started getting targeted.
As I recall, the game winning drive was basically all him, similar to Cooper Kupp in the SB against the Bengals.
After that, I honestly don't remember his "dominating" a game again.

I am NOT going to crap on Diggs talent-wise.
He is/was very talented.
AND you want a WR who demands the ball be thrown to him.
However, Minny traded him to us pretty quickly and it was NOT all about the emergence of Jefferson.
I suspect he could be a much better leader and positive presence in the locker room.
Morse....Poyer....Hyde....White...Diggs...even Davis, Neal and Matakevitch. All gone. All but Neal part of the leadership group.
Out with the old, in with the new.
I would think that one thing everybody could finally agree on is the first window for winning a championship has officially been closed with the jettisoning of the old crew and it remains to be seen how open the next one is going to be with the new guys.

That’s the big question, but two years ago by the end of the season KC had 6-7 rookies starting or being major contributors to their first of the two back to back SB wins. I think all but 2 were on defense. What was the X factor (s) Mahomes and Kelce. They were old and got young. Hopefully the same works for the Bills.

Out of the guys we lost, the only one I would have liked to keep is Morse. Even though some here don’t understand or want to understand is McGovern was brought here to be Morse’s replacement. This didn’t just happen the night before they had to be cap compliant, they had a plan. The big question is, was/is it the right plan? We will find out.
