What would you trade the 28th pick for?

I would move back for the following offer.

Houston doesn't have a first-round pick after trading No. 23 overall in a deal with the Minnesota Vikings last month.

But the Texans do have three selections on Day 2: Nos. 42, 59 and 86.

    I would take #42, 59 and 86.

What would you accept to trade down?

    FSU WR K. Coleman #33
    Utah DB C. Bishop #60
    Duke DT D. Carter #95
    Kentucky RB R.Davis #128
    Georgia C S.VanPran-Granger #141
    Washington LB Edefuan Ulofoshio #160
    Troy DE J.Solomon #168
    UCF OT T.Grable #204
    Penn ST. CB D.Hardy #219
    England OT T.Clayton #221

    # 28 is 660 points. Those picks equal 950 points. Yes, I'd make that trade.

    Found the chart.

    #42=480 .... 2nd rounder
    #86=160 ..... 3rd rounder
    #123=49 ..... 4th rounder

    For a total of 689.

    #28=660 ..... 1st rounder

Depends on who is available at 28. Maybe a the right player and a pick in the trade would be interesting.

That could well be how it all shakes out.

Many are saying there are only about 150 draft-worthy players. Then again, with the need for a WR and many teams likely taking one in the first round and early part of the 2nd, do you want to drop down that far and miss out on a good one?

If for instance the top 5 WR's are gone well before the pick at 28 it may be smarter to drop back.

That is why the thread was created ....... it's all about availability.

Another question might be .... what are you willing to give up to move up?

If there's what we feel is a future #1 receiver available at 28 then...nah

It's highly unlikey all the top WRs are gone by 28. And I'd consider trading next year's 2nd rounder to move up if someone coveted falls to that spot. That can get them to #17 overall (Jax).

I'm sure they'll pull the trigger on that scenario if it presents itself.

I wonder how many they see as "the guy" maybe just the top 3.

If that's the case trading back becomes more of a possibility.

Tier 1 would be .... Harrison, Odunze and Nabers.

To get one of those guys would be very expensive.

I would try to do something like this and throw in whatever 4, 5, or 6 combination to equal the numbers.

Re: What would you trade the 28th pick for?

The question is a little silly since none of us are in the position to decide what we would trade #28 for. So the idea of "what would you trade the 28th pick for" is moot. Just sayin'

I think the chances of Beane trading down from #28 is between slim and none.

    I'm with Gooby....

It's doubtful that "the top 5 WR's are gone well before the pick at 28 ".

If the Bills have their eye on either Brian Thomas or Adonai Mitchell (which I think they do), they may have to move up to get him. We won't know if or how much until next week.

    1) It's doubtful that "the top 5 WR's are gone well before the pick at 28 ".

If the Bills have their eye on either #4) WR Brian Thomas or #5 WR Adonai Mitchell (which I think they do), they may have to 2)move up to get him. We won't know if or how much until next week.

    1)

    2) I'll bet the top 4 are gone for sure maybe 5.

Mitchell might be the only one to make it to 28 and that's iffy imo..

    Well which is it ??
