Have the Bills changed their scouting focus under Beane?

Allen- Wyoming
Kincaid- Utah
Bishop-Utah

While everyone seems to be selecting players from Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Michigan, etc, (National title-type schools) the Bills seem to be trying to find gems in obscure places.

I kinda like taking guys that may have slipped under the radar, whilst the traditional ****ty franchises all fight over the flavor of the month.

All three guys were pretty well-ranked going into their drafts, it's not like they were unknowns (like an Andre Reed).

Maybe their philosophy doesn't weigh competition level as much as some others?

Beane tried to move up to pick Bishop nobody wanted to move down .... so as Beane puts it we won by losing ..... very pleased with the results.

im not a believer Bishop can cover in the NFL. Wasn’t great at it in college.

Nubin and Bullard were best, but needed a move up. Then Tykee or gamble on Kinchens.

cbs sports has him as the 134th ranked person. Picking at 60. Was this a big reach? I don’t know

I do suspect he won’t start until 2025.

Bishop will the the starting S (sometime in 2024 and certainly for 2025) and one of the leaders of the dense for years to come.
