Receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is in Buffalo on a free agent visit with the Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Valdes-Scantling, 29, visited the Chargers last week, the first reported visit for him.

He played 16 games, with 10 starts, seeing action on 618 offensive snaps in 2023. Valdes-Scantling caught 21 passes for 315 yards and a touchdown.

In four postseason games, Valdes-Scantling caught eight passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. His score came in the Super Bowl victory over the 49ers, a 16-yarder in the third quarter that gave the Chiefs a 13-10 lead.

NFL Media reports that the Bills are expected to sign Valdes-Scantling. The wideout is in Buffalo to visit with the team and is set to finalize a deal on Tuesday.

MVS was exponentially better than Diggs the past two years of the playoffs.

Just in 2023 MVS stats were WAY better than Diggs crappy ass performance in the past four Bills playoff loses.

Diggs in FOUR playoff loses with the Bills....

MVS in 2023 alone...same FOUR games played...

Diggs was supposed to be the Bills #1 WR, while MVS was the Chiefs #4.

Catching balls from Rodgers and Mahomes the last 3 years, MVS has a catch pct less than 50 pct Davis had soft hands comparatively at 53. Hollins even catches 60 pct. So you have Coleman, Shakir, Samuel..even Hollins at 60 or over, and signed a guy with 49.

But the postseason!! Got to get there first and then you play him over a more reliable regular season guy who earned his bones getting there? Like I said....
