Wonder if they plan on starting Coleman at this point. You know how OBD likes to make most rookies wait.
I doubt it but we’re signing a lot of successful vets and we already have a successful Shakir, and two very capable TEs.
We’ll see how camp plays out…should be interesting.
‘The Bills have 14 receivers under contract and just five of them — Khalil Shakir, Justin Shorter, Andy Isabella, Tyrell Shavers and Bryan Thompson — were with the team last season.’
It's WAY too early...BUT....the WR room is sure looking like it is poised to be better than last year.
If Coleman is able to bond with Josh and Samuel is what he has been the past few years (with ****ty QB's, no less) and Shakir continues to impress with his sure hands and quickness....with Joe Brady able to install HIS offense, with his known easy style and communication and symbiotic relationship with Josh and the offense (it's been reported that last year, when the meetings with the offense started before the next game, Brady would open up the meeting asking what the offense wants to do).
With the whiny diva Diggs (thankfully) gone the team is ALL Josh Allen's. THAT is the ticket for getting over the hump. Let Josh be Josh. He does not have to worry about appeasing the big mouth Diggs anymore.
Not even taking into consideration Kincaid and Cook looking like budding stars it is downright encouraging.
I suspect (a carefully chosen word) that the much needed reworking (fairly accurate to call it "purge") of the WR room could pay off big time in 2024 and beyond.
If we keep 6
1)Coleman
2)Shakir
3)Samuel
4)Hollins
5)MVS
6)Claypool or Shorter.
PS two others

MVS seems like a faster version of Gabe for like 15% of what he signed for in Jax. Can stretch the defense. Will take the roof off with periodic amazing catches. Will frustrate with periodic terrible drops.
We don't have THE guy unless Coleman shows up and shows out, but we do have numerous guys now. Josh will have targets.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

And now 13 occupy the WR's room.

Who says Josh has no pull on who the Bills sign?
Part of the back-story with Marquez Valdes-Scantling signing with Buffalo: Josh Allen had him over to his house for dinner Monday night as part of the receiver's free agent visit. The two hit it off, and MVS decided that night he wanted to be a Bill. https://t.co/FI95Y1EeW8
