    WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is in Buffalo on a free agent visit - NBC Sports

    Receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is in Buffalo on a free agent visit with the Bills, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

    Valdes-Scantling, 29, visited the Chargers last week, the first reported visit for him.

    He played 16 games, with 10 starts, seeing action on 618 offensive snaps in 2023. Valdes-Scantling caught 21 passes for 315 yards and a touchdown.

    In four postseason games, Valdes-Scantling caught eight passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. His score came in the Super Bowl victory over the 49ers, a 16-yarder in the third quarter that gave the Chiefs a 13-10 lead.

      We have a lot of tall wr’s. Must not be a coincidence. I’m Not the biggest scantling fan but he’s not slow for a big guy 4.37 40 time

            Report- Bills are expected to sign Marquez Valdes-Scantling - NBC Sports

            NFL Media reports that the Bills are expected to sign Valdes-Scantling. The wideout is in Buffalo to visit with the team and is set to finalize a deal on Tuesday.

                Competition .... good competition is critical.

                      Following a visit on Monday night and Tuesday morning, the Buffalo Bills didn’t let former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling leave the building. In breaking news this morning, the Bills have signed Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a one-year deal worth up to $4.5 million, including a $1.125 million signing bonus, per multiple reports.

                        Better value than Gabe Davis' $39 over 3 years w/ $11 mil due at signing.

                            MVS was exponentially better than Diggs the past two years of the playoffs.

                            Just in 2023 MVS stats were WAY better than Diggs crappy ass performance in the past four Bills playoff loses.

                            Diggs in FOUR playoff loses with the Bills....

                            35 targets, 16 catches (45.71%), 140 yards, 8.75 AVG/T/C, 35 AVG/Y/G - ZERO TD's.

                            MVS in 2023 alone...same FOUR games played...

                            13 targets, 8 catches (61.5%), 128 yards, 16 AVG/Y/C, 32 AVG/Y/G, 1 TD.

                            Diggs was supposed to be the Bills #1 WR, while MVS was the Chiefs #4.
