All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

BTW, an interesting point I found is Hyde said he could not see Jones eyes because he was way deep, so he had to go by the stripe on Jones helmet to see where he was looking. Should the Bills re-design the helmet scheme to remove the center stripe so opposing safeties cannot read Josh by looking at his helmet Stripe?
After getting some glimpses of him working with the other safeties when he was injured but in the building 2 years ago, he seems like he'd be great as an assistant working with the Safeties Coach.
Maybe, but coaching is much less demanding on the body. It’s consistent income for as long as he needs it. Hyde made a lot of money but it might not be enough to last the rest of his life.
Right. And work isn't all about the money. A lot of former NFL players with huge bank accounts go into coaching for the same reason they went into playing: because they love the sport and want to be a part of it.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

“It breaks your heart when someone leaves and you don’t know why.”
"It may be raining but there's a rainbow above you" Former President Donald Trump early Thursday touted the results of a new NPR/PBSNewsHour/Marist pollshowing him ahead of President Joe Biden by 8 percentage points among independents.
He'll get frustrated in coaching. The play he described, the playoff game against Pats where he intercepted Mac Jones in the endzone, tells you the kind of instincts he has. it combines with the knowledge coaches provide, in this case he said as much that Babich provided scenarios the best he ever had. Still, on the field to apply the knowledge quickly is what we are talking about here. On that play,Buffalo was playing single high and Hyde was the high one, and he said he believed Jones ID-ed single high quickly. So it is matter of Hyde finding out where Jones was going to go with the ball, assuming attacking deep. At that point, it is not coaching anymore.

Far be it from me to question Hyde, but if that's the 'play of the game' int in the end zone...what stripe is he referring to? The Pats regular helmet doesn't have one.

Great point, I just went and watched the clips to see if NE was wearing throwbacks and they weren't.
Maybe he meant the strips on the shoulders of the jersey?
