It’s obviously a money grab. Netflix doesn’t have live sports. Netflix doesn’t have commercials (for the most part). The NFL isn’t on Netflix and football games have lots of commercials. It’s a perfect match.
Personally, I don’t care. I already pay for Netflix and since the Bills aren’t playing, I’ll probably be doing stuff with my family and not watching football on Christmas anyway.
But, I can see how people are getting annoyed that the NFL is taking these games that used to be included with the TV service that most people already have, and moving them to streaming services that require additional payment.
