All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Smith has played well in place of injured Mark Dixon (ankle), getting beat for a sack only once, by the Bills' Aaron Schobel on Sunday night. Not bad for a rookie.
"I think I pretty much underestimated his speed and that was it," Smith said. "
Looks like a fairly decent write-up about the kid, justa. No obvious digs at the team or anything like that. He did okay this time, and should get his props for that. Now, the December game may be a bit different (at least, we hope it will be).
Again Schobel? He held John Abraham sackless, holds his own against Jason Taylor in practice, and knocked Hugh Douglas' helmet off twice in preseason. He shouldnt be too concerned about Schobel, who is probabaly the 7th best DE in the AFC East.
"No TH, I aint got no younger hos for you, freak!"
Leads? Yeah, sure. I'll...uh...just check with the boys down at the crimelab. Yeah, they got four more detectives on the case....we're working in shifts!"

It's not trying to let Shobel know what people are saying about him, but his not being dominant against a rookie. He needs to pick up more than just 8 sacks this year. So far, our DE's are nothing but average.

No argument here. I've been saying that ever since the preseason game against the Ravens. They do not look that good against the run and the pass rush from the edge is not that great either. Schobel's only move is to try and run around the tackle. He does not try to go inside and does not have the power to go through someone with a bull rush. Denney looked okay in the opener, but has been awful quiet since. We still have a long way to go, and they could get better and make an impact in the pass rush and against the off tackle running plays.
