Harrington downplays any injury
ALLEN PARK -- Lions quarterback Joey Harrington is experiencing some wear and tear that goes with playing his position, but he insists there is nothing that will diminish his performance.
Harrington admitted Wednesday that a dislocated right (passing) index finger, suffered late in the first half of the Minnesota game two weeks ago, is healing slower than he had hoped.
But reports that he has a sore right shoulder are baseless, Harrington said.
"I didn't do anything to it," he said after practice Wednesday. "It's bumps and bruises. It's the game of football. There's nothing. There's no story....
