Or take a seat. Sunday night, with all of the Dante Hall hype, would be a perfect time for Antonio to break one.

Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Speaking of Dante, how is your kicking game/coverage? I'd love to see Dante break the NFL record in front of the home crowd on national TV.
Speaking A. Brown, I've been saying that this guy is taking up a roster spot. He's playing like crap.
Resign our own guys!
Maybe if he tries running up field instead of sideways on every kick he might break one. Who does he think he's gonna outrun going East/West in the NFL.
I guess he's been watching too many films of Dante Hall.
Good call- he's always looking for the big play, but the big play's not always there. Sometimes it's better to just pick a hole and hit it for 8 yards than dance around hoping for the miracle block to spring a 60 yard runback.Originally posted by eyedog

But, he's young- there's still a chance he might mature.
Unlike the cheifs we cant get away with blocks in the back, or else Brown would look like dante hall.
If Brown took the chances Dante did he woudln't have a job.
I think it's safe to say at this point that Antonio is a major failure. So much for the preseason huh.
They could replace him with anyone. Maybe Shaw will end up back there like originally intended.
Lou Saban: You can get it done, you can get it done. And what’s more, you’ve gotta get it done.
The reverse play they ran with him was nice on Sun. He has a set of wheels.
I think on the kickoffs he gets going so darn fast that if there is a strong wind in the other direction he fals over.
Pick a lane and stick too it. Some nice blocks would make things easier for him, but why not have Coleman, Aiken, Brown, Shaw, or even Burns return a few. It would not hurt us in any way.
OUr st players aren't exactly making blocks for him either. Everytime he catches the ball , there's already a couple of opposing players in his face.
I like what I saw in McGee. Although Brown can sprint, McGee can make tacklers miss.
Sooner or later, Hall's gonna get clothslined, like a former KC return star, Nolan "Super Gnat" Smith did many, many moons ago.
Fiat justitia ruat caelum. Noli timere. Laus Deo.
I like Brown. Give the kid a chance.
seven games into the season.. he has had PLENTY of chances..
i really want to see coleman back there.. or mcgee.. someone new.

You think he's going to be the casualty when McGahee is activated?
No Brown won't be the casualty. Be patient with him and remeber he is still young and adjusting to the speed of the NFL. He just needs to relax and let things open up.
Besides his speed is a weapon on offense when properly used. He will be fine give him time.
We should definitely keep Brown. You can't teach that kind of speed. But while he has great potential, he needs to start to produce.
If he does nothing again Sunday night, we should give Coleman, McGee, Shaw and perhaps Clements a chance.
As far as kickoffs, Sammy is comming back, people forget how good of a return man he is(he broke off a 52 yarder this year before he got hurt.)
As far as punts, something has to change, he is dead last in the leage with a 4.3 yard average.(Hall has a 21 yard average if you were wondering)

Ohhh, and he ranks first in attempts, so its not like he isnt getting the chances.
