A setback in Jay Fiedler's recovery from a sprained left knee was significant in coach Dave Wannstedt's decision to name Brian Griese the quarterback for Sunday's game at Tennessee.
Fiedler will not practice Wednesday as the Dolphins (5-3) hope the additional rest will accelerate his recovery.
Fiedler injured his medial collateral ligament in an Oct. 19 loss to New England.
"The last couple of weeks I've tried not really pushing it but just trying to see where it's at," Fiedler said Monday.
