We have a new RB coach

    The Buffalo Bills have named:

Eric Studesville - running backs; Born May 29, 1967, Madison, Wis., lives in Clifton, N.J. Defensive back Wisconsin-Whitewater 1985-88. No pro playing experience. College coach: Wingate 1994, Kent State 1995-96. Pro coach: Chicago Bears 1997-2000, joined Giants in 2001.

He's also an NFL Graduate of the Minority Coaching Fellowship Program. I also heard he was being courted by the Washington Redskins as well. (Eat it Redskins

Supposedly he joined the team in 2001. I'm not going to rip on him about Ron Dayne that guy is a headcase. Only thing though is why he couldn't stop Tiki Barber from fumbling?

What happened to Les Steckel???....How does this guy guide a Titans squad to a Super Bowl, Revive a Buccaneer offense from the depths to have a franchise record setting year not have a freaking job in the league??? I think even Joe Pendry has an OC job somewhere and Dan Henning is going to the SB. What is wrong with this picture???

i am not real happy with this signing.. seeing as how he couldnt help tiki stop fumbling.. and steckle did that for henry...

also, thunder and lightning was good for one year, but what happened the rest of the time?

i dont know.. he has no playing experience, and has never really coached anyone that good.

This is Mike Mularkeys team, he is an offensive minded caoch and will bring in his own staff on that side of the ball.

He's a new guy so he will have learn more. He was beign corted by other teams so he must have been doing something. Also Tiki was fumbling before he got there as far as I know. Also Ron Dayne is nothing but a but a big fat headcase. He may suck but I won't rip him until he sucks for us.

It's not a bad thing that the new OL coach and the new RB coach worked together for the last 3 years.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

If a running back who has been in the NFL as long as Barber has can't figure out how to hold on to the ball at this stage in his career, then he never will. Coaching can only go so far!

It's just a bummer that they let go Steckel. He's good.

By the way, where are you getting this information from? I haven't seen anything official on it.

Yeah, I'm guessing it came from a Jim McNally recommendation. I thought Les Steckel was fine too, but I recognize that since the offence overall sucked last year and the Bills hired an offensive guy as head coach as a result, the likelhood of retaining anyone on the offensive side of the line of scrimage was slim. That's life in the NFL. BTW, I think Joe Pendry is working as an offensive line coach now, not an OC.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Poor Les. I hope he lands on his feet somewhere, preferably not the Patriots.
