You are the man, but please let me know when I laughed about Lemieux winning the scoring title. It may have been last year when he came in at the midway point of the season but it surely wasnt this year.
Who wouldnt win the title when you own the team, most players constantly pass him the puck because they are afraid of being fired I guess. But hey, its all good .. hes on my fantasy team and needless to say I am in first place.
I was in 3rd but when I cut all my Sabre players I went right to the top .. go figure !

hey buffalofan, i swear you laughed, the thread is too old to find it now. You said he was too old and brittle. It is irrelevant anyways. Lemieux got 4 more points tonight in a 7-2 win over Philly. Wow!!! does he have more points than the entrie sabre team?

Yeah, I probably said that last year when he came back. He didnt end up with the title but he was amazingly close for all the games he missed. If he stays healthy he will win hands down this year.
He plays the Sabres tonight so you can add 5 or 6 more points.
And for the record, Lemieux has 45 points and the top scoring Sabre is Gratton with a whopping 18 points. Now thats pretty sad.
I really hate to keep knocking the Sabres but until a coaching change is made they will continue to embarass themselves. I have faith that Hamister will make it right when he takes over.
lemieux took the night off on friday cause his team was playing the worst team in the league (sorry guys). He registerd 1 point on saturday.
