    Qb problems?

Now right now we are set with Drew "Throw All Day" Bledsoe but whatwe need to do is try and develop a backup of some sorts and that has to come from this next years draft, now College football is at te halfway point or a little past so here is my top 5 QB's: SENIORS ONLY!

    1. Leftwich
    2. Ragone
    3. Wallace
    4. Dorsey
    5. Palmer

Personally I love Wallace and think he should win the Heisman.

      Or the defense!

Next years draft needs to concentrate on defensive speed and depth and maybe even more depth on the OL. It also depends upon the FA status of Price and if Riemersma stays....I think he'll be back with redone deal :)

It seems like you have a problem with "throw it all" Bledsoe.

next years draft is so deep at LBer... i just cant see the bills justifying not going with one.

Unfortunately... last year was a great D year... this year there is little depth in the D draft (unless some juniors declare)... the DTs this year are small (270-300), and while there are some good ones in general there isn't the depth we saw last year. The DEs are fairly weak too... although there is a little more depth than at DT. Because there is such week depth at DL, expect an early run on them, as teams fill their DL needs with sub par talent. Don't get me wrong... there are good DTs in this draft; it’s just that they will be long off the board by the time our mid-late 2nd round pick comes up.

This crop of LBers are generally all very fast and quick, with a lot of pass rushing specialist.

Thus the FA focus on DL :)

                  Ingtar:

Can ya tell me something about DB Willie Pile from Va Tech?

                  Strengths/weaknesses/early draft projection?

                  thanks

I think Winfield_26 is right. This is going to be one of the deepest QB drafts in history. We could pick up a really good one in the 3rd round. Remember, quality QB's make great trade bait, so even if Bledsoe still has six years left in him, we could trade the QB down the line ala Trent Green or RJ.

We don't have the luxury of drafting any of those QB's.

Maybe TD will see a 6th round sleeper.

It would be pointless, because most of these guys are going to want to start in a year or two. Bledsoe is only thirty. We only need a solid back up, which we have.

Drewpac, goodpoint about the trade thing but, it shouldn't be a reason to draft a QB, especially considering the sad state of affairs that is our D

                        Byrd.

They will take best available on the board, like last year. the d will have to be helped through FA if we want to be a contender next year.

Nonsense- Drew is what, 30 years old? He can last another 7-10 years if he stays healthy. The last thing we need is to worry about grooming a "QB of the future" when our QB of the future is here! Drew!
Argue like hell. Keep it clean. And when it's over, shake hands and root for our team!

Number 1 I have no problem with "Throw all day". I actually love the gameplan my only worry is that if he can keep his consitency up for the next 2-3 years. We need a good backup and if you ask me preferably a scrambler. 3rd-6th round prospects I would like to get:

                              1. Wallace
                              2. Thomas
                              3. McCown
                              4. Guy from Minnesotta (Tariq??????)
