Thumbs up So, the dominance continues...

Canada beat the US 2-0 last night in Halifax to win their 8th straight Women's World Hockey Championship.

Look for the Canadians to repeat (as last year's Gold medalists) in the Under 18 Men's World Championships starting tomorrow in Belarus.

Look for the Canadians to repeat (as last year's Gold Medalists) in the Men's World Championships starting April 24 in the Czech Republic.

The Canadian Women's Team w/l record at the World Championships is 39 wins 1 loss since they started having a World Championships in 1990.

Not like the US Lesbians who (like the US Mens team) haven't done dick since 1980.

Seriously who cares? Why do canadians have to boost their ego thru their hockey? I didn't even know there were womens world championships going on nor do I care. Its a good thing Canada won or Canadians would have even a bigger inferiority complex than they already do.

hey D, i hope the leafs get spanked in 4.

What we get, something like 8 or 9 points out of a possible 12 vs the leafs?

I hope more teams try to "knock us out of the playoffs" next year with those efforts.

By the way...how did the Canadians do in that Under-18 tournament that just finished up?
