Anyone think he'll be a first ballot hall of famer? I don't doubt he'll get in....but I dunno if he'll make it in first try, I guess it depends on the competition

Thurman HOF, yes. First ballot HOFer, sorry, no way. Although an outstanding back and a great bridge between Roger Craig and Marshall Faulk, Thurman was constantly overshadowed in the national media by Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith. Although Thurman was far and away the best all purpose back of the three, he just does not get the same level of notice as the other two, and was never as good as a pure running back. I see Thurm as a third or fourth ballot pick. To be honest, I think Andre Reed deserves 1st ballot selection more than Thurm. I know that's unpopular to say, but Andre is third all time in receptions and very high in both yards and td's. Statistically he was more impressive at wide receiver than Thurm was at running back, although Thurman did win the 1991 NFL MVP.Let's Go BILLS and SU ORANGE![IMhttp://www.billszone.com/fanzone/attachment.php?attachmentid=&stc=1G]
