All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Luke Lawton Bio info. -
Pros: Luke has good size & is an experienced fullback that has shown the ability to not only run effectively with the ball but also act the role of a receiver out of the backfield & block effectively. He has an excellent motor & work ethics.
Cons: He is not a big play threat, having marginal speed, and will be good in short yardage situations as a receiver but will not break it open. He should add a little lower body strength and power and work more on his pass route techniques.
Draft Exchange Analysis:
Pro Day Update :
HEIGHT:5.11.6
WEIGHT:237
40 AVERAGE:4.55
SHORT SHUTTLE:4.54
3 CONE:4.63
VERTICLE:33.5
LONG JUMP:9'2"
They were forced to go inside for the workouts and a wooden floor resulted in slower than normal 3 cone and shuttle times.
He will not win you over with any one aspect of his game but he is a solid all-around prospect that will grow at the next level and should be a solid contributor on a roster in the NFL. Not sure if he will be drafted but if not will surely get an opportunity as an undrafted free agent and should, if picked up by a team needing someone with his skills, make the roster easily.
That guy has Lawton wrapped up pretty good. I don't think he went to far after that.
I am glad TD signed some good FAs - and alot of them. 3 or 4 could make the team and that's good.
I'm a little disappointed in the lack of Oline FAs. I thought that since TD was so big on improving the Oline with 6th and 7th round picks that undrafted FAs would be right up his alley.

I know he's a hometown guy but this guy really did have a good career at UB!
