All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Last season, when I posted that if Ruff used Gratton on the first/second line on a regular basis instead of using him as a mucker on the Ray line, he'd get 80 points, all kinds of people called me crazy.
Well, 6 games into 2002, while playing on the FIRST line with Satan and Pyatt, he's got 10 points already.
Gratton's the guy- it's about time Ruff used him correctly!
Argue like hell. Keep it clean. And when it's over, shake hands and root for our team!
I've been one of his biggest detractors, but he is playing well now. Ruff's propensity to play skill players with guys who ought to have shovels in their hands drives me nuts too.
Gratton has always been one of those players with "potential." Maybe (and finally!) he's ready to move out of that category and have a real productive season.
See me here pushing you
If I then deny I do
Contemplate or wish away
If I ask you not to stay
Gratton has been awesome thus far! Man.. he's competing for the top spot in the league.. in terms of points/scoring.. who would have thought? I hope he keeps it up.. that would be great for him and the Sabres :) Yay I hope he surprises us with his skill.. I remember some people saying that Gratton was a washed up guy who was not good enough and should be traded.. and I always argued.. no give him the ice time and let him shine.. and so far he's been getting the job done.. it seems like.. when the going gets tough.. the tough get going!
Originally posted by Rude American A .242 career hitter isn't on track to hit .350 just because he went 4 for 4 on opening day. Let's assess Mr. Gratton after 82 games.
Gratton is a far better talent than a mucker or the equivalent of a .242 hitter.
Totally unfair comparison.
Hopefully he'll get a full season on a top line with 15-20 minutes per game of icetime. Then you'll get your "fair assessment".
You'll also see an 80-point guy. He was on a tear the second half of last season when Ruff finally realized this guy was an offensive threat, and is continuing now.
Argue like hell. Keep it clean. And when it's over, shake hands and root for our team!
