They one a couple in the mid-1990's - Biron in net- Holzinger, Ward, Dawe, -and many more of the Sabres who went on to the big club and made good playoff runs in the late 90's -
I thought they had a calder cup with Biron in net & they played against Portland & Ron Tugnutt was they're goalie. Then later on the Sabres beat the Ottawa Senators with Tugnutt in net when Plante scored in OT in game 7...

I think they won in 1994... Or it might have been 1995 (I'm too lazy to check!). I watched it with my friend, not sure why we didn't just get tickets and go to the games, seeing as I was living at home at the time in Roch.Comment
