Bryant Carted Off Field With Spinal Injury

Oakland Raiders defensive end Tony Bryant was carted off the field with a spinal injury during overtime of the Raiders' 23-20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

Bryant fell hard on the Coliseum grass 5:50 into overtime, but he was able to move his arms and legs as he was taken off the field.

Bryant has feeling in extremities, although the feeling is sore

Oakland Raiders defensive end Tony Bryant was released from the hospital Monday, a day after he was carted off the field with a spinal injury.

A CT scan turned up negative, but Bryant also underwent a precautionary MRI on Monday.

Bryant might be lost for season

Oakland Raiders defensive end Tony Bryant will undergo a third MRI exam that will help determine whether he will play again this season.

Bryant was carted off the field after injuring his neck during overtime in last Sunday's loss to San Francisco. Bryant didn't practice this week, and has been declared out for Monday night's game in Denver.
