    Bellichek exposed glaring weaknesses

On offense, the Bills showed that they cannot handle the blitz right up the gut. Henry is lousy at picking up the blitzers, and every time he was on the field, they blitzed right up the gut.

On defense they exposed the horrendous LB play. Fletcher missed enough tackles that Polk saw a lot of time in the second half. Robinson shows more aversion to hitting than Sabre defensemen. Newman was virtually invisible. That 50 yard screen pass brought back nightmares of the rotten defenses of the OJ era (Don Nottingham going 50 yards on a draw play).

TD has as much work to do on the defense this next off season as he did on the offense last off season. There has to be at least 5 new starters next year on defense.

Patriots attacked the Bills' D most glaring weakness:

    Lack of speed!

Speed is what stops screen plays

Making a tackle would help too.

No one has bothered to run screens on the Bills because the pass rush is so lousy. There is no need.

Just think you can beat an NFL defense by screen plays...that is embarrassing!!

Missed tackles is right. I saw Wire run by players he was trying to tackle a few times. It's time to change out of this 4-6 crap.

why do they keep taking big pat out of the game?? I think it was the Lions game (??) when they took him out and he was complaining on the sidelines that he wanted to stay in. I really don't like this rotating business.
back to the 3-4 I say!!!!

I disagree with you Miss B. They have to stay 4-3 because the LB's are so bad. But they have got to back off into cover 2. With all these guys close to the line of scrimmage, if they miss all these tackles you get your 50 yard screen pass.

I don't know EE. I know Fletcher and Robinson have been playing this 4-6 for awhile, but I don't think they're that bad where they can't play a 3-4. Throw Spoon (if he ever recovers) in the middle w/ fletch. or Polk hasn't been too bad.
The thing with this 4-6 is that you need dominating players that know how to fill in the gaps and that is so not happening.

Hey, the 4-6 has got to go. There is no denying that. But I'm looking for ways to get Robinson off the field, not ways to put more LB's out there. But if Spoon was healthy, maybe.

LOL EE!!! That Robinson has been very disappointing! I know Fletcher was one of the leadin tacklers on the team, but, and maybe I'm just not seeing it, it looks like he's done nothing out there.

Fletcher missed tackles on both of those long screens.
