Lindy afterwords says the club was a bit rusty from the long layoff and didn't get their skates underneath them right away. Rob Ray in the post game interview says you could see the guys were tired out there in the third period.

That's about it. Sabres aren't even getting good odds in this game. I'm thinking of taking the canes at 2-1 to win by two goals. I've never bet against the Sabres before but they suck bad. I bet against them for a few bucks they probably will play well.

unfortunately people i think we will lose a team that is really loved by the community...it isn't about seats sold as the whole nhl is down in sales...it comes from not seeing quality, or playing quality hockey...what happened to this ROUGH TOUGH STYLE...excuse the line...OLD TIME HOCKEY...it isn't there....this situation needs to be resolved...no management is killing us...make a move someone...if i could i would by the team and give tickets away...that is the only thing that will work unless we bring some people in

It's not that they were unlucky! These morons can't score because they are not good enogh. They can get good chances but shoot them right into the goalies chest.

BG43 - if this slump was the Nasdaq, I would say buy, cause I don't see how we can get any lower.
We desparately need an owner. Despite any weaknesses Lindy might have, he's like a union member without a union. Bettman has to step up to plate now and get the puck sliding.
If Darcy makes it through this, he had better reconsider and realize just how bad this group of players is overall and do something about it. This is the worst Sabre team I have ever seen. You can only blame the coaches so much. The players should have enough instinct to play the game.
