Earlier this preseason, I predicted that Lindell...

...would directly cause at least three losses this year.

    Today was number one.

PS. Anyone see Christie hit that 53 yarder?

How? He missed a field goal that would have made the score tied. So, he didn't directly cause a loss. He would directly cause a loss if he missed a field goal with the game on the line or had an attempt blocked and run back for a TD.

I heard Christie hit a 53 yarder. I thought it was one of Donahoe's biggest mistakes not to talk to Christie and work out an injury deal with him before just placing him on the reserve/injured list. I always liked the guy.

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with LOG.

Politics isn't the only thing we agree on.

We lost because he missed that FG. Period!

Yea had he made the kick it would have been tied and we would have had more of a chance, AND if we had a kicker, we wouldnt have punted when we did in the 4th and prolly had another 3pts.

He missed the 41 yarder and Mularkey had no faith in him to make the one in the 4th so he punted.

              Lindell is on the block.

I'm sure the almighty and all knowing Tatonka will set the record straight so we all see the light and realize that Lindell is the next superstar kicker in the league.

Next week he'll make 5 50 yarders and we'll all eat crow

If Mularkey had total faith in Lindell as a great kicker he may of attempted the FG instead of doing a pooch punt... I don't think I can name a handfull of kickers worse than Lindell.

I am not a big fan of Lindell either, but the game was NOT lost because of him. I don't think it will be as easy as many think to just pick up a better kicker, but if one was available, I would take him in a heartbeat. I would love to have had Christie back. I really wish we would have brought in a kicker to compete in camp.

I'd like to know where he said Lindell was great first off.

I've been saying the same thing Log! This guy is AWFUL! He missed one and we didn't even try one at the end because he sucks so bad. It wasn't good.
