Buffalo Sabres defenseman Alexei Zhitnik was suspended two games without pay for a kneeing incident involving Carolina Hurricanes left wing Jan Hlavac, the NHL announced Friday.
I thought the play was dirty and the suspension is warranted. Maybe our penalty minutes will go down the next two games because Zhitnik seems to be called for 1-3 minor penalties a game
He is lucky he only got 2 games. Did you hear Ruff trying to make an excuse for him? He should just shut up. It was a dirty play. If another team had done the same thing to the sabres, Ruff would be in an uproar!
