LOL, Coaching Hockey Again

I just got a call from the league convenor asking me to head coach my son's Novice house-league team. The coach that they had lined up quit at the last minute, so they needed a Hockey Canada carded coach in a hurry...first practice is tomorrow at 9:00 AM.

The good news is that I have the top-rated Novice player in North Bay (we had the #1 draft pick) to work with.

The bad news is they're 7 and 8 year old boys. My job will be mostly to keep them from killing each other.

The boys hockey parents are waaaaay calmer...they've usually been around the block with team sports before, so they're not ******s.
