All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Think about it. If a major pro sports team came into existance today and wanted to name themselves the Dolphins don't you think American sports fans would keel from laughing...and with those teal and orange unis?

My vote doesn't show up for some reason, but! The Dolphins get my vote. Dolphins are sweet and nice, how could you be intimidated by that?
A 'mighty duck' that's a different story, sounds like pissed off water fowl that you wouldn't want to cross.
I remember a commercial with Larry Czonka several years ago in which he said that had he known that the thing on the side of the helmet was a Dolphin, he never would have signed a contract as a rookie.
I'm going to have to say that the Ducks are the worse team mascot in Pro sports. At least Dolphins are considered to be a highly intelligent species. Ducks are dumb and there is absolutely nothing frightening about a Duck.
i think the redskins is the worse name .....We could make a team called the blackies. most of the native american Names need to go....semionals is alright i think ....indians logo for baseball needs to go .....they probally will never change those anyway. also i hate the Columbus Blue Jackets name .....Blue jackets they could be like the cobra's or something better then blue jackets
there are tons of very obsure college mascots....volenteers, aggies, sooners, buckeyes, ducks (that arent even mighty), boiler makers, bruins, the list goes on and on.
and quoting snl on why the bulls were going to win the nba finals, "just look at the names...what the hellsu knick???"

Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
