    Playoff scenario

All hypothetical of course and there are 1,253,657 different possibilities, I know. But let's look at where we are at the moment and have some fun. :)

At this point, the division winners are:

    Pats: 5-0
    Pitt: 5-1
    Indy: 4-1
    Denver: 5-1

    Wildcards:
    Jags: 4-2
    Jets: 5-0

If the Jags and Jets go say .500 from here on out (huge assumption but go with it for now), they will be 9-7 and 11-5 (10-6) respectively. So to get a wildcard the Bills will have to be at least 10-6 because we lose the tiebreaker with Jax. That means we need to go 9-2 the rest of the season.

I can see it....We need to get it started this week though.

I see a loss to possibly the Seahawks and Pats....It could happen, be a believer.

11-0 is much more realistic than 9-2.

Truthfully we probably would need to go 10-1 to have a chance. Jax is more likely to end up 10-6 than 9-7 imo, and I don't see the jets collapsing and going 4-7 the rest of the way.

The Jets are actually the real #1 seed in the AFC East, they have more wins against AFC opponents.

Anyway I think the Jags are capable of staying in the WC hunt, but I wouldn't count out the Ravens yet. Either in WC or AFC north.

For the Bills or Chiefs to get back in this thing, they need to win at least 6 of the next 7.
So that they could be 7-5, going into the last 4 games.

                Still a bit early-

Last year the Vikings started 6-0 or something like that and never made it in.

The Titans started something like 1-3 or 2-4 and they ripped of a huge amount of wins

So if that is the case, the Bills are not a legtimate team and won't make the playoffs.

                  Pats--opponets are a combined 9-17
                  Pitt-- opponets 11-22
                  Indy-- opponets 15-15
                  Den-- opponets 12-23
                  Jets-- opponets 6-22
                  Jags-- opponets 16-17

What team on here has played a tough schedule besides Indy and Jax. Please forgive the Jets for having to play Miami and Buffalo. No game is an easy game in the NFL. Why should the Jets be ashamed of a "easy" schedule. It's what you get when you have a bad year previosly. The Bills and Dolphins were supposed to be AFC East contenders and Cincy was supposed to win their division. The proof will come out on Sunday when the Jets beat the Pats...or is that not a big enough game for you.
