One looser down! 20 more to go!
Wonder who'll beat down his door to sign him?
Watch him score 20 goals after he signs with another team.
Only if he plays 20 more years.
It's just funny that almost every ex-sabre lights it up when eh gets to his new team.
Nice way to save $1.5 million...if he clears waivers (which he will) he'll have to go to Rochester to keep earning his pay check or retire. If he retires he doesn't get paid.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
Wonder if he has a 2 way deal?
no...if he goes to Rochester he gets his full salary.
It's possible that Detroit could claim him since Jiri Fischer is out 4-6 months. $1.425 million (prorated to to about $1.25 million) is a drop in the bucket for them
Detroit has defensemen just waiting for a chance to break into the lineup......they don't need Woolley.
Almost 36 hours...no takers for Wooley so far.

They have defensemen sitting around, however, few of them are proven. Holland won't sit around and hope somebody steps it up. He'll sign people and and take the best of the lot. Wooley may or may not be better than Bykov and the other Russian youngster, or the two top guys in Grand Rapids. But he gives them another option. In the short term, at least, he'll play.
