    Barring miracle, Kitna's the starter

The news doesn't come as a surprise, but Jon Kitna will -- barring an unexpected turn of events -- start Sunday's game at Paul Brown Stadium at quarterback for the Bengals against the Buffalo Bills. Head coach Marvin Lewis said Friday after the team's workout that if the game had been played Friday, Kitna would have been his starter and he expects that to be the case Sunday. ...more

Carson Palmer won't start Sunday due to a knee injury, but might be listed as the Bengals' No. 2 quarterback.

I don't expect "Kitner" to have lost too much but I think we have a slight edge since he's been out so long.

In other news, the Steelers are imploding against the Giants. Roveratedthlisberger picked off.

That was a nice runback. McGee would've smoked that guy though.

I was thinking the same thing... McGee has much more speed, the Steelers were just really sluggish getting off the blocks...

Now that I found the right thread...
The Steelers imploded for half a quater, I think they're okay now.

Me too. Our defense would have had a field day with Palmer at the helm, but Kitna is more experienced and has something to prove.
