OK, I watched Hammister / Berman on Empire last nite....

and I like what I see. It's good to see some optimistic, passionate owners in town again who give a damn about the area.

They got a heck of a bargain. They more or less control the arena, they get the Bandits and the Sabres for 50-60 mil.

Boy Josh Mora damn near had their pants down, he was drooling on them so. I guess Empire was not part of the deal.

I believe they also assumed about $30 million in debt.

I agree with ya EE, I think Hamister will be a solid owner. He doesn't need to double the payroll......just get more bang for the buck!

Yes, but don't expect any firings anytime soon.

Not until off-season at the earliest. The season is NOT over.......the Sabres could go on a run.

        It can happen...

It appears Hamister can have some "influence" but cannot help make outright decisions. I can understand that.

BUT if the Sabres can make a deal that would add some to the payroll AND help the team.........I'm sure he can give the Okeydoekey

It will be Hamister's team in January. He'll probably spend a month or 2 scouring the organization, then maybe chop heads before the end of the season.
