Step 2 in the dismantling of the New England Patriots!

Romeo Crennel is being considered for both the Cleveland and San Francisco. Let’s see the genius replace both his offensive and defensive coordinator.

I don’t even care if they win it all again this year! The dismantling is in fool effect. Now we need a team to throw a boatload of money at Scott Pioli and get him out of there. After that, it’s the other 31 GM’s job, especially the other 3 AFCE GM’s to start cherry picking players off the roster!

We finished 9-3! It’d be a damn shame to go 11-5 next year but have to play as a wild card because the Patriots won 14 games for the 3rd straight year! We need to do are part in dismantling this team! Which is why I say we throw a boatload of cash at Adam Viniteri!

A good kicker can easily give a team 2 wins!

I wouldn't have a problem with Viniteri, he a dam fine kicker. I don't think TD is ever gonna pay a kicker more than a million a year though. That seems to be as much as he's willing to pay. Im sure Viniteri probably makes much more than that already but Im not positive. Lemme look, brb.

I would rather have Sam rip Tom Bradys head off. They only way to dismantle the Pats is to chop off its evil head.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Well that could be a problem. I'd hate to go 11-5 next year, go in as a Wild Card because Lindell cost us two games and in the divisional game he costs us a third!

People are not going to love signing a kicker for big bucks but grabbing AV has a 2-fold impact on the Bills. One, it makes us stronger, two it weakens our biggest threat to a division title. Plus seeing as how Kicker is one of the weakest positions on our team, it makes nothing but Perfect sense to me.

You know what's funny? I believe Vinatieri's worst stats are against Buffalo.

I no cap specialist or anything, not even close. But I did some poking around and it looks like Lindells salary is about 764,000. The only figures I could find on AV had him at just about 2.5.

According to a Miguel, a Pats capologist, Vinatieri got a base of $1.425 mil...add in his prorated signing bonus of $675,000 and he was $2.1M against their cap in 2004...he is a UFA this year. He signed a 3 year $5.75M deal after the 2001 season (a NE SB win) when NE franchised him.

Lindell got $4.3 for 4 years after 2002.

I can predict what will happen. We cut Lindell and throw a boatload of cash at AV. AV's career starts to decline. The pats pick up Lindell at a bargain price and he turns into a perenial all-pro.
    Drew Bledsoe ****ing sucks

Things change very fast in the NFL. The Pats could easily be 8-8 next season.

With "Oakland" being the operative word.
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

Funny thing was "Sea-Bass" wasn't even that great in college - he was AMAZING on kickoffs but so-so in FG's. Gramatica, also drafted that year I believe (and fairly highly for a kicker) was the FG accuracy king (remember "automatica"?)
