All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

He hasn't been a bonafide starter since he's left Denver - he might swallow his pride and not mind carrying a clipboard if Tampa Bay cuts his underachieving @$$.

- I remember watching objects fly in my house Jan. 27th 1991 (XXV) as Scott Norwood missed, But I remember holding hands in my living room as Steve Christie scored three points to cap a 35 point comeback victory with Frank Reich at the Helm.
He'll be way too expensive. I think he's a very good QB who will be starting somewhere next year.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
I always liked Griese since that Monday night game in 2000 where he separated his throwing shoulder during the game, but finished out the game (which the Broncos won). I think he showed uncommon toughness and leadership, playing through a separated throwing shoulder. He was in his 3rd season with a QB Rating over 100 after 10 games, to go with a 19-to-4 TD-to-Int ratio.
After that game he was IR'ed for the season and wasn't the same. A separated throwing shoulder is a tough injury for a QB, and it took a year or two for Griese to get his armstrength back. Then he had some off-field issues -- rumors of drinking and tripping over his dog and such.
However, last year he looked like the player he was early in his career with Denver. Whether Tampa signs him or he goes elsewhere, he is going to be a good QB for someone. He is going to start in this league and do well. He is more mature now, but still young enough (he'll be 29 this season) to have a team commit to him long-term.
It wouldn't surprise me if Dallas pushes hard for Griese, if Tampa is unable to restructure his contract and be forced to releas him. Everyone has them signing Bledsoe, but Griese is a lot better and I know Parcells likes him a lot.

What do you guys think?
I would love to get him here, but I still think he will be in Tampa. I watched him all year last year and he looked pretty good, I still think he is a decent starter in the NFL. But I dont see him in Buffalo as a backup...
