    I don't know about the best thread, but Eb's letter to the amigos was certainly the worst.

        I had to vote for the thread that didn't get hijacked or distracted by a bunch of whining.

                          Log - did you use the number of views and replies of each thread as the basis of which ones were chosen for the poll? I think that would be a reasonable metric if not....
